1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Nuqtafy — the website, web app, and the Nuqtafy Recorder Chrome extension (together, the “Service”), operated by Teknosoz. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Nuqtafy lets you record or upload lectures, meetings, and documents, and automatically generates transcripts, study notes, meeting minutes, and quizzes from them. The Service is currently in beta and provided free of charge. Features may change, and paid plans may be introduced later; we will announce pricing before anything stops being free.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when signing up.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and sign-in tokens confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person. You may not share or transfer your account.

4. Your content

  • You own the recordings you upload and the notes, minutes, and quizzes generated from them.
  • You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service: storing your recordings, processing them (including through AI service providers acting as our processors) to generate your content, and displaying the results back to you.
  • You are responsible for your recordings. Only record lectures, meetings, or calls where you have the right or permission to do so under your local laws and your institution’s rules.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload content that is unlawful or infringes others’ rights;
  • attempt to access other users’ recordings or probe, disrupt, or overload the Service;
  • resell the Service or use it to build a competing dataset or product;
  • use the Service to cheat in exams or assessments.

6. AI-generated content

Notes, explanations, and quizzes are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. They are study aids, not authoritative sources. Verify important material against your own lecture content before relying on it.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running smoothly, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. As a beta product, downtime, data-format changes, or feature removals can happen. Keep copies of recordings that matter to you.

8. Termination

You can stop using Nuqtafy and delete your account at any time; deletion removes your recordings and generated content as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teknosoz is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, lost profits, or academic outcomes arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (currently zero during the free beta).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
